It is a legal job of course. So, would you take it?
My youngest nephew looked into selling cars, new and used. In 2 days he learned that "If you're a good liar, you'll make bank"
He refused the job NOT due to morals, but that he wasn't raised to be a liar. He now works for a major bank as a rep, makes $35K a year and loves it as he's happy dealing in honest work and being honest...
Maybe one day, he's change his opinion of religion, but he's still a wonderful person, no matter what.
As for me, No, I wouldn't compromise my standards. if I can't do the job without lying, I'm not doing it.
I worked for a newspaper that published legal things that were supposed to go in by a certain date. They were rarely on time, always late. I felt horrible for participating in that, but I needed the job. But if they had told me they were going to do that before they hired me, I may have opted out.
16 folks have read this thread so far and only 5 have replied. Does that mean the 11 are too shy to say "Yes"?
To be honest, I would if it pays extremely well, but that depends on the level of immorality. As an example, I would consider working in a used car lot, not as a hands-on salesperson selling clunkers but let's say in the administration hands-off role where I would know what goes on on the floor but wouldn't care as long as I am not doing it first hand. Or akin to working in a hospital as a care provider well knowing their accounts payable inflates charges. Wouldn't work for extreme cases such as a Ponzi scheme corporation no matter they pay me 100x the market rate.
And if I know the company itself is, say, donating to Planned Parenthood or pushing for Amnesty (which will just make the job market worse), I don't apply either.

Many sales jobs including cars and real estate, but also furniture and appliances (mostly commission based) require at least exaggeration, if not lies to be successful. That eliminates those jobs as possibilities for me, thankfully I have never been in a position to resort to sales. I don't base my job or my purchasing on who or what a company donates to, in fact most big companies hedge their bets by donating to both conservative and liberal causes. When I had a business for 16 years, my customers included both the Republican and Democrat local party leadership, the Second Amendment, Foundation, some environmental activist organizations, church groups opposing a proposed local strip club, and the strip club itself. I didn't discriminate when it came to making a living.
