Revenge is going to work for a competitor and putting your previous employer out of business.

When I figure out the 'gain' from exacting revenge, I'll let you know.

Using time or resources without gain is irrational.

You don't.

Retaliation can result in termination of employment. You can be demoted. Quitting without giving notice paints you in a poor color. If you fail to list employment in a resume it will harm you. A potential employer calls the old employer that you walked out on and they get the lowdown, whoops. Omissions are a good way to disqualify a candidate. Are you a professional?

If so, start acting like one.

If you are considering a negative-review cycle online, get a cheap throw away phone, make a new email, use a laptop at Starbucks, and have a proxy running on your laptop.

It's VERY, VERY, EASY to subpoena the email servers(gmail, yahoo, ect) for ip address, account info, ip logins.
