Annerk, you said you could make $450 in just a few hours? Well the other night, my mom had her first meeting for her first transitions class (she's teaching people to lose weight). At the end of her class (around an hour long) she collected $1200 and once a week for the next 12 weeks she will be collecting $100-200 more depending on the number of students she has, and that is cash up front in her pocket. Nothing out of that goes to the company. After conducting 3-4 classes she will be making around $1200/MO which WILL come as a check from the MA. That's not including the cash in hand at classes, remember. And that's not beans. All she needs to make is $2400/month TOTAL so she can quit her J.O.B. She's getting close. I figure 3 classes a week should do it(3-5 hours/wk). One of my close MA friends who is also a transitions coach has a required min. number of students for her class - 10 min, 15 max. She holds anywhere from 7-10 different classes per week. I believe the company pays her around $7500/mo in commission checks. All of that added up is quite a bit of money. She only works between 20-30 hours per week, because she also sells websites AND is a fabulous mentor and coach to other MA reps, including me, and I am not even in her organization. Which means that she gets nothing from helping me succeed. Which means that, unlike you, she IS the type of person who will give out what you would consider 'proprietary info' just because she wants others to do as well as her. I'd say her time is very valuable, as well as yours. She's been involved with MA for around 5 years, just incase you were wondering. They say 2-3 years to make around 180,000 at minimum. I know she does make that. This company works, and it's not a sham. I wish I could tell you that I make as much as her, but I dont because I have not tried very hard at it yet, AT ALL. But I am about to, as I am moving to the carolinas this month and have a great team to work with, including my first personally sponsored team member. I took this past year (a little over, actually) to study the company and figure it all out, so now, when I get to the Carolina's, I can pretty much utilize any and all parts of my Unfranchise as I see fit. Depends on which side of the bed I wake up on each morning = ) Whether I feel like leaving the house or not. Please don't get the impression that I'm bragging, but you make it seem like you're thinking: "Holy nuts, I'm so much better than you all because I can score $450 in a few hours". You're not the only one who makes good money doing what they enjoy. I'd rather do this than sit at a computer writing html code all day, or whatever it is you said you do. But I'm not puting you down. You like your job, is that correct? And it's ok if you'd rather do that to make money than do what Crash and I do. That's totally ok. But it doesn't make you better than us. Better at html, but not better in general. Fair enough?

I forgot to mention an important detail. Exactly how my mom got members for her first class: they are all people who watched her try out transitions to see if she could actually lose weight and keep it off, and they all practically begged my mom to get certified so she could teach them herself. Similar experience with the friend I mentioned. Absolutely no peddling or pressuring friends/family members/coworkers. At all. I have before and after pictures for both people if you would like to see. That's pretty much all it takes for overweight people to have their interests piqued. They both have them up on their facebook. Simple-stupid, easy, practically foolproof.

Come back in a year or two and tell me how well it's going for her.

By the way, I'm done with my little project.

So now I'm going to invest some money in an investment that I'll truly someday **** away, a few bottles of good wine.

Sorry, but I wouldn't use Arbor Mist to cook with, let alone drink. Sutter Home, Evil, Yellow Tail, Beringer, CK Mondavi, or Charles Shaw either, for that matter.
