I do wonder how US and Australian offices differ in the sense of a) how they operate and b) the pros and cons of each.
I might be a bit weird, but my pet hate are people that insist on bringing their breakfast to work and then noisily clattering spoons and bowls as well as the slurping of milk. I am pretty sensitive to noise!
Also I work with marketers who by nature seem to be loud in every aspect of their personalities (they are generally gregarious and easy to talk to though so not all bad).
A CFO that did an interview with me was eating snacks. And she actually stopped the interview to go get the food.
