So I want NYC like city. Rainy, not too hot, big downtown area, 24 hour busy, great night scene etc. Please discuss pros and cons of listed cities, thanks.

Options:
Toronto, Canada
Montreal, Canada
Gothenburg, Sweden
London, UK
Dublin, Ireland

If you think any other city from UK, Ireland, Canada or Sweden suits me, suggest it

Britain is most likely to have the kind of cities you are looking for, e.g. Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, Leeds, Bristol or Newcastle.

Ireland is pretty quiet outside Dublin. There are hardly any big cities in Ireland. But if you love nature and the elements, it is a great country.

I was looking at cities you mentioned but their skyline view doesn't seem impressive at all, I want big city with high buildings you know. I guess Toronto, Vancouver and London as other posted suggested and Montreal? Not sure, what is wrong with Montreal?

Nothing in Sweden is like New York City, but I wouldn't mind living in Gothenburg myself.

Well I can get free university including living costs in one of those countries. But I have always wanted to live at NYC, Manhattan. But USA is out of question.

Why is the skyline so important to you? Many downtown areas with skyscrapers are dead at night. You can have nightlife in any city, regardless of the height of the buildings.
Newcastle for instance is famous for its nightlife. Leeds as well, and Leeds even does have a couple of high-rises. Don't judge a city by its skyline
