The biggest mystery is why Puerto Rico hasn't been Street Viewed by now (lol).

Hawaii is complete and those are some of the most remote islands in the world, so the island factor can't be the reason.

Mexico is almost fully covered, so the 'foreign' factor can't be the reason either (Puerto Rico being a territory of the US not withstanding).

What's the real reason? Anyone?

im sure they will photograph puerto rico sooner or later. a lot of countries dont have any coverage now... I find it very surprising that Greece doesnt have street view while Ukraine and Thailand do!

Probably because Puerto Rico is neither a state nor a country and therefore does not get as high a priority.

I've gone birdwatching on Google Streetview, tryng to find birds that are identifiable by species. I've found about ten. Here are pelicans, a cormorant, a gull and some terns at Guaymas, Mexico

And White-winged doves near my house in Victoria, Texas

For Duluth it's mostly low-resolution imagery dating back to 2008 and 2009, so a bit outdated. Many businesses have since closed in the city due to the recession.

Superior St. & Lake Ave., the "definitive" intersection in my city: Google Maps

Canal Park tourist district (almost the only picture I could find of it, for some reason they didn't drive through it): Google Maps

Mall. This (and the surrounding area) is where most people do their shopping: Google Maps

Google Streetview in Duluth is badly outdated and short in coverage (e.g. none of Park Point is covered), although it's becoming a good near-term historical resource.

It will be because of local laws and permissions rather than any remote or "foreigness" factor. Also perceived demand. Hawaii has a bigger population and is wealthier than Puerto Rico probably was the reason they prioritised it.

Germany has very poor coverage (major cities only) because its privacy laws make the legality of Streetview a grey area so Google has stopped covering it. However, next door Czech Republic is now 100% covered.

I know Ukraine and Poland's major cities were rushed through because of the UEFA Football championship last year. Coverage in rural areas is still poor there.

Parts of Chile have recently been added - I've been having a good time exploring Santiago and Valpariso. The latter particularly looks wonderful with so many well preserved Victorian buildings - the next property hotspot maybe?

I can't wait till they add Buenos Aires. Shouldn't be too much longer

They need to redo a lot of the US. Ironically, the first country to be added is now quite poorly served in comparison with most of Europe, South Africa, Mexico etc.
