I'm pretty curious about both of these cities. Tel Aviv to me seems right about fantastic, it's hella dense & attractive.

Let's compare them on cuisine, tourism (things to do), scenery, shopping (more or less, things that make for a unique shopping experience), entertainment (nightlife, sports, book stores, & such), climate, location, politics, diversity, & pretty much anything else you can come up with.

No idea, I always thought Tel Aviv was modern and soulless but it does have some history.

Tel Aviv is a very modern city. It is sort of like a mini-Manhattan by the sea.
