Uh, yes they do. Turn the TV on and switch to a random music channel and I guarantee you that at least one will have an entire program dedicated to music from either the 1990s or 2000s. The 2000s only ended 5 years ago, yet for the past few days I have seen several programs titled 'Best Songs of The 2000s' or 'Best Ballads of the 2000s' or '2000s Dance Anthems'.

People your age won't be around forever and the type of music you enjoyed listening to as a child or teenager will eventually fade away.. nobody will be listening to Boy George or David Bowie in 100 years, I assure you.

I was born in the 1990-1992 period on the poll.

The big events during the time period of when I was born was that the Soviet Union dissolved and Bill Clinton became President of the United States.
