I'd stay put in Chicago. It seems like a relatively good city to be rich in: luxury condos, shopping, culture, easy access to international destinations, etc. However, I would travel, travel, travel. Tokyo is my favorite city on that list, so that would be one of my first stops.
I already live in NYC, but I'm nowhere near wealthy at all. But if I were, it would still definitely be on my list. I might be in the same city, but my life would be completely different.
If money wasn't an issue whatsoever and you could easily afford to live in the best of the best neighborhoods, afford to dine out at world class restaurants each night, ect., which city would you choose to reside in?
I'm moderately wealthy and very happy with where I am.
If I were extremely wealthy, I would sure as hell not live in a high density area like the cities mentioned in the poll. I would get the f*** away from everybody. Move to a tropical island.
I'll never understand people with enough money to escape the crappy lives of having to constantly deal with other people who choose to live in the middle of super-dense urban environments that don't even have good scenery.
But you know, those people do tend to take a lot of trips.
I want enough money to have a place in all of them! I would definitely want a place in London but would also need a place somewhere in the Caribbean. Actually thinking about it, a place in London, a boat moored somewhere in the Mediterranean (for the Summer months) and another moored in the Caribbean (for the winter months), two boats so that I don't have to bother to actually sail them! :-)
