In rural Mid-Missouri it is now $4/gallon. We do not have mass transportation nor is it feasible to 'car pool'. Those of us that live a 20 mile round trip to the nearest town do attempt to make our trips count by doing as much of our business at one time. The real estate office where I work is a 40 mile round trip.
Regular gas at the cheap stations Tuesday in Salem, Oregon was $4.179/gal. The same in Albany is usually about the same to 5-cents higher than Salem. And Corvallis is usually about 5-cents higher than Albany. I wouldn't be surprised to see prices hit the $5 mark before the year is out. Some of the full-service stations are getting closer to it.
$1.70 a litre. Last week it was $1.60, the week before that a $1.50. WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE? GOD!!11??!!?!!1!!
I DON"T WANT TO HEAR ANY OF YOU UNITED STATES PEOPLE COMPLAINING. $4.05 a gallon, that's perhaps $1.10 a litre.
I don't know WTF is going on, but this is absolute horse****. The f******* fuel prices are increasing here at a LITERALLY exponential rate. Even our airlines are removing routes. Our biggest domestic airline has scrapped the Melbourne to Darwin non-stop route and the Sydney to Hamilton Island Route. Qantas has also cut back international routes, but increased airfares at the same time.
