It seems like there is constant war, somewhere in the world. More powerful nations trying to gain an upper hand geopolitically, economically/for resources, and financially. Or trying to further destabilize resource-rich (but poor) countries.
What is the main threat to world peace in your opinion?
"What country" is not the proper question to ask. "What form" is a better question. The threats don't come from stable countries, but unstable ones where lawless groups are allowed to operate. What form? Terrorism, genocide, civil wars, availability and distribution of WMDs, cyber warfare, asymmetrical warfare, transnational crime, etc.
For those that say the US - the world has entered it's most peaceful and prosperous period of existence in history since basically the US became a world power...1945 and on. You wouldn't think it based on the news, regional conflicts still exist, but it's true.

If it is ever proven that China intentionally propagated the coronavirus, then that would constitute a very serious threat to world peace.
If that can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt, then yes. They should come clean and face the consequences.
But the rhetoric engaged by those in power has condemned and subjected the ordinary folks on the streets to abuses and lawless summary execution.
It is easy to spot one with major threat to world peace, one that exhibiting megalomania.
Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua and not because of the countries themselves but of who runs them...the radical left...and no, I am not talking center left, talking about socialist and communist dictatorships ...ohhha and all three countries are right on our backyard but we are more interested in what is going on in Israel or Yemen or Myanmar...
The US is unlikely to invade territory in the same way Russia or China, and the US is currently withdrawing from Afghanistan, so if anything the US is now seen as less of a risk to peace.
Major flash points in terms of world peace include grey zones in Europe such as Ukraine (and other former Soviet satellite states), areas that are contested such as Taiwan and islands in the South China Sea, the Arctic (and it's resources) the Korean Border, the Indian/Chinese border, Pakistan/India, the Middle East including Palestine/Israel and religious fundamentalism, especially in relation to Islam. Space and even the moon (and it's resources) also have the potential to join this list in the future.
The US is itself geographically in a fairly stable and peaceful part of the world, although US Foreign policy is at times questionable.
I think the US and it's western allies are now increasingly involved in cyber and technology, as well as peace keeping missions, however in terms of starting an actual significant conflict, I think the major flash points I have mentioned are still the most likely triggers in terms of actual threats to world peace.
