I was watching HGTV a while ago. A female prospective buyer said that the kitchen cabinets 'need replaced'.

In my 66 years on this earth, I never heard (or saw) that particular language abomination until just a couple of years ago.
Am I to conclude that this type of usage is commonplace in Indiana?
