You can do whatever you want until you make money off of it, then you should cite it. Nobody cares (except maybe a professor, depending upon their opinion about citation) what you do with enjambing other writers/artists/etc work into yours if it has a purpose, until it makes money. Once you make money off of something it matters that its cited so the company that published the writer that you took a phrase from can get a cut of it.
