Hey as the title says just checking to see who on here are RN's. I finish my BSN in Dec 2014 and am looking to move to Wyoming. My wife is a medical coder as well so I am hoping we can find jobs in the same location.

I'm not, but I used to be fairly active in the medical community in Gillette, and at that time the hospital (Campbell Co. Memorial) was very actively recruiting RNs. You might check with them.

Campbell Co. used to give nice bonuses at the end of the year. It was always a good place to work.

Ivinson Memorial is also a good place with a wide variety of services. And if considering Laramie, check out the huge, and really busy, orthopedic center, Premier Bone and Joint (it used to be known as Gem City Bone and Joint). Pretty impressive group there, too.

I would usually recommend looking at Sheridan's hospital, but they are not actually hiring nurses other than a bit of prn, if someone dropped out of the sky. They still have positions listed on their site, though.

Thank you. I looked briefly at Sheridan. I looked at Evanston as well. There is a state hospital there.

I am working in a state nursing job and, if you are interested in the state hospital, I can tell you that the state of wyoming offers very generous benefits (health insurance and retirement). They do have positions where you will get generous compensation for your BSN. The rural hospitals I have previously worked at offered "bare bones" benefits and did not reimburse for a BSN.
