Side note 2: Living in city = risk of insanity LOL

One the + side, it is just over 40 minutes 1 way from Rawlins to Saratoga. That is not really all that bad for time and distance.... average US commute time is 26 minutes.

A diesel Rabbit would eat that commute distance alive! LOL

Go to rural living instead safer all the way around.

Need to make your own GTDs, not available in USA.

40 min is not such a long commute for Wyoming. But having to live in Rawlins would be a miserable trip home! Consider all 'other / better' options!

Oh, I don't know about that.... the Sinclair station in Rawlins has a 'DINO the dinosaur' statue.... you can't get much better than that! LOL

Yes, I remember trying to SEE the lights / flame of tower on snowy nights passing through Sinclair.
Like a wind sock, the flame got quite horizontal at times! IIRC there were good prices during gas wars ($0.16/gal)

BTW there is still ONE remaining (of 110) Aluminum cast Sinclair Dinosaur on eBay for $800. 8 ft long, 4 ft high.

I would stick with avoiding the commute (as 'fun' (?) as it seems it would be...)

Lamborghini Countach LP400S

That's not the vehicle for 'Open Range' highways!

('2000#bull in your lap (or face)' @ 100+ mph)

Ouch.

Stick with a Heavy Haul Class 8 truck with really big bumpers.
A WY Heavy Haul Carrier brings their 1950's International to the annual ATHS shows across the USA. It is awesome tough (but not fast). It will get you home eventually, but alive.
