Right now I am using Time Warner as my internet provider, and I am very happy with the service they offer.

Sadly, it doesn't look like they service Lake Wylie. I've looked around, and TW's competition can be a little costly, and I don't think I want to go with DSL.

What are the most affordable options in Lake Wylie?

Thanks in advance

The Comporium Monopoly is the only choice isn't it?

Welcome to Comporium. You might check with AT&T they do have some small areas left in the Lake Wylie area.

Unless you want to go with the 4G coverage from the cell phone companies. My son lives in Florida and has 4G and when he was here recently he couldn't get a signal with whatever company he uses.

We all are!

I tried Hughes Net satellite internet ... NO WAY ... it is the pits. Somebody brought a class action lawsuit against them for false advertising their internet speed ... I wasn't aware of it but I received a check in the mail for $5.00 my portion of the settlement ... some Tort Law Firm probably raked in all the money.

Clearwire is almost here with their build out:

Enter your address and see - looks like they are in Lake Wylie.

You are right I put in Plantation Square address and it's available. Is anyone familiar with that company, I've never heard of them. Their pricing doesn't look any better than Comporium.

The huge downside of living in York County, esp Fort Mill & Rock Hill. Overpriced service and zero type of leniency. The postal service took 8 days to mail my bill to them and they refused to lift the $1 late fee.
