I am relocating to ft. mill at the end of summer. I'd like to make friends with others interested in scrapbooking and card making. I have lived within 60 miles of my place of birth my entire 61 years. I am moving to be close to my youngest daughter and family which includes two adorable little grand daughters and 6 & 3. I have visited the Carolinas several times and fell in love. Now I will be there full time and am very excited. What kinds of things should I do to get acquainted?

Well, first of all...I would like to extend an early welcome to you. No doubt you are going to love living closer to your two little angels but I also hope you come to love the area as much as my family and I have.

My first suggestion would be to obtain Focus on Fort Mill Towship Magazine (which is a newcomer's guide to Fort Mill, Tega Cay and Inidan Land). I have provided a link below (it is free...and if you wish...they will mail it to you). It is a wealth of information (there's also a section in the back that includes a guide to local groups). Of course volunteering is also another great way to meet new folks.
