The children in this subdivision attend Fort Mill schools. They are very highly rated. As far as crime...we've had no worries. We feel very safe here. The Fort Mill paper is delivered free every Wednesday and there's not much crime reported. There's plenty of shopping within minutes and we participate in both Tega Cay & Fort Mill community activities. We were surprised to see Santa Claus riding a fire truck and visiting every single street in Tega Cay. The lights and sirens had us all out on our front porches and the children were delighted when Santa's "elves" threw them candy. It's things like that that add to the charm of the area. People are very friendly here. It's rural enough that you can sit outside and just listen to the birds. We moved from Chicago and love it!

My family is hoping to relocate from Michigan and we fell in love with the True Homes model. We have a business that we need to cut ties with here before we can relocate so it may be not for a year. Are there many lots left in that pod?

Any new information on the neighborhood and/or the builder DR Horton?

Our needs - Young family with kids/pets. Commuting to South Charlotte for work.

Concerned that the neighborhood is still years from being complete, that it is off rural roads, and we like to be close to restaurants and shopping (Baxter and Steel Creek seem close...) But we hear the schools are excellent.

Any advice/thoughts? Thanks!
