Perched on top of a hill, McGraw’s has one of the best views in town of the mountains, sunsets and spectacular lightening storms. The place is just right for a laidback dinner of old fashioned cowboy grub. Owner Lex McGraw knows how to rustle up some good food and locals bring their out-of-town guests here for a taste of how food in the West used to be: plain, simple and hearty. Starters like his home made Texas chili and thick-cut beer battered onion rings whet the appetite for a big, juicy steak grilled over mesquite wood for that signature smokiness. Choose from rib eye, tri tip, sirloin and New York strip. BBQ ribs, chicken and seafood round out the menu. Tuesday nights are Steak Night, with top sirloin offered at a bargain price.
