Description: If you have been a naughty boy or girl, then get into this Korner and learn how to be nice again. Opened in the late 1930s, it is one of the oldest continuously operating gay bars in the United States. This part of downtown appears to have seen better days, but its location made it perfect when such bars were often raided simply because they existed. Nondescript from the outside, inside you will find an intimate space. It once catered to an older generation of men, but its earlier, dark space with old diner booths and a jukebox has been refashioned with trendy, modern decor, attracting younger folks. Ask about the cool refrigerator behind the bar. A great place to have a drink and meet some locals. Sun and Mon nights are for karaoke, so be prepared. Open seven days a week from 3 p.m. until 2 a.m.
