1. Cape Cod Chronicle

Description: Established in 1965, the Chronicle is the Lower Cape’s only independent weekly newspaper. The Chronicle focuses on Chatham and Harwich and includes news, features, sports, community-service listings, and entertainment news.
2. Cape Cod Community Newspapers

Description: Owned by the Gatehouse Media Group, these weekly newspapers include the Register, the Harwich Oracle, the Cape Codder, and the Provincetown Banner. Gatehouse also publishes the Sandwich Broadsider, Bourne Courier, and Falmouth Bulletin. All the papers are sold on newsstands and by subscription. The newspapers are community-oriented, general-interest papers that include news and events along with local features and columns.

Description: This biweekly paper has been published since 1895 and has been owned by the Hough family of Falmouth since 1929. These papers include calendars of events, arts and entertainment, and weddings and births. The papers are sold at newsstands and by subscription.
