City: Hyannis, MA
Category: Nightlife
Telephone: (508) 775-2386
Address: 488 South St.

Description: For another guaranteed good time, try the Roadhouse Cafe. Owner Dave Columbo’s dad, Lou, is a highly regarded jazz musician, so it’s no surprise that the Lou Columbo & Dick Johnson Jazz Ensemble takes the floor here on a regular basis. Top area pianists are featured on weekend evenings.

5. Tommy Doyles

City: Hyannis, MA
Category: Nightlife
Telephone: 508-862-9430
Address: 334 Main St.

Description: When Tommy Doyles took over the former Hooters on Main Street in Hyannis, it filled a hole in the hub’s night life. Although there is plenty of Irish next door at the 19th Hole and clubbing available elsewhere, the combination of an Irish pub and late-night entertainment appears to be a success so far. The restaurant can appear empty at times but that’s partially because it is so big. The food is standard pub fare with Irish themes throughout the menu. Open seven days for lunch and dinner. At night live entertainment in the back room draws big crowds after 10 p.m.
