Description: Affiliated with St. John’s Regional Health Center, the Visiting Nurse Association provides medical assistance to approximately 180 residents in the tri-lakes area. Their staff includes registered nurses, occupational therapists, and medical social workers. They make nursing-home referrals and can assist patients in securing financial aid. You may call them directly or have your doctor arrange for a visit.

Description: OATS Transportation Service provides daily bus service to folks in the tri-lakes area. You may call the Springfield number to arrange a ride. Please give at least two days’ advance notice. Once a month, the OATS bus makes a trip from Branson to Springfield and back. The cost is $6 round-trip, and you may ask to be picked up at your home. If you are traveling to Springfield for a doctor’s appointment, they ask for a donation of $4. A round-trip in Taney County is $2, and a round-trip in Branson is $1.50.
