No violation noted during this evaluation. 05/10/2015InspectionReinspection performed to check for correction of blue violations noted on April 09, 2015 - Operators have performed significant overall cleaning of equipment and surfaces in the kitchen. Walls have been cleaned. -The ceiling has been painted in the kitchen. Food and other items that were previously found in soiled carboard boxes are now stored in clean , non absorbent, plastic containers which are labeled and have lids to protect against contamination. -No food items were found stored directly on the floor, also no paper products were found stored on the floor. Cookware and containers for bulk dry foods are all stored off of the floor and are found to be clean, surfaces of the shelves were also cleaned. - Grease storage outside the establishment is clean,kept in barrel, not on ground and bucket on the roof has been removed. -Vent hood is clean at time of inspection and the lights are on over the coook line. Screens have been replaced in the windows and door, doors were also closed at time of inspection. -Interior of the walkin has been cleaned including the walls and shelves. - Dishwasher appears to be working at the time of inspection.

04/09/2015InspectionNote: Restaurant was recently closed by local code official, there was a small electrical fire in basement and various fire safety issues to address. During codes inspection it was also noted that there was excessive grease residues in kitchen which also posed a fire risk. Additional issues were noted with grease disposal at back of resturant. Codes asked for joint inspection with DOH upon reopening. Inspection of kitchen shows a number of sanitation and maintenance issues that still need to be addressed, owner has been asked to focus on the above items before reinspection in first week of May. Additional electrical hazard noted during inspection was discussed with operator at time of inspection and will be referred to code enforcement. Temperatures taken include; wontons, on ice,at soup station are 41F, broth in hot holding is 176 F. Rice, in steamers, is between 161-162 F. raw fish in sushi cooler is 33 F. Walk in refrigerator is at 39 F, and the Lowboy at cook line is also 39 F Paper copy was provided to the operator at inspection so that operator can begin addressing issues, please mail final printed copy to owner at 254 west bridge st Catskill, NY 12414
