--Complainant stated that employees were observed eating in prep area/behind counter. This was not observed today but owner admits this does sometimes happen. Eating in the food prep or storage areas is not permitted. Drink cups with lids are permitted. Ensure all employees are aware that food is only to be eaten in dining area or office.
Preventing Contamination from Food Employees' Hands (46.261)
--Observed 2 employees using only one glove when slicing deli meats and cheese. T The ungloved hand touched the deli tissue that foods were placed on and placed into bag. You must ensure deli tissue does not become contaminated by hands. Wear 2 gloves or ensure bare hands do not come in contact with foods or food contact surfaces.
Objective of Cleaning Grease & Soil Accumulations & Nonfood Contact Surfaces (46.711(b)(c))
--Complainant stated area behind counter between display cases was dirty. Observed several areas during inspection that must be cleaned. Clean the following: 1. Ice machine exterior 2. White shelving to left of ice machine 3. Floor under ice machine and deep fryer 4. Remove cardboard box used to store plastics and jars. Replace with a cleanable plastic tote.

--Personal items must be kept in employee restroom or office. Do not store lotion or medications in work areas.
