Tipton: Adjoining the City Pool, and across Cicero Creek from Tipton City Park is the Heritage Center & Museum. Activities at the Center include summer evening band concerts & ice cream socials, featuring the Tipton Community Band.
Tipton: The old Post Office is downtown, a half block east of the Courthouse. The building, built during the Great Depression, has large historical artwork in the lobby, painted by WPA artists.

Tipton: Home to several senior citizens is the newly-renovated Miller's Merry Manor, located next to the Fairgrounds, and across Cicero Creek from Tipton's Golf Course.
Tipton: Tree-lined entrance to Doctors Park, on the scenic south side of Tipton-which, interestingly enough, is right next to the Golf Course, to keep the doctors happy.
Tipton: Across Main St., on the south side of town, is the county 4-H Grounds, a facility used for many community activities, year-round.
Tipton: Tipton Elementary School, formed by consolidation of the former public elementary schools in Tipton, which were Washington, Jefferson, & Lincoln schools.
Tipton: Pioneer Hi-Bred, the largest employer in Tipton County, is located in the city of Tipton, on the west side. Pioneer, an international company, plants a great number of acres of seed corn, and other crops, in Tipton & surrounding areas.
Tipton: At Tipton City Park there are trees, playgrounds, ball fields, picnic areas, basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, tennis courts, a public pool, horseshoes, shuffleboard, and right across the creek, which borders the park, is Tipton Municipal Golf Course.
