  • No paper towels available at employee hand washing sink located next to the grill and sandwich prep table. Corrected
  • Employees using hand washing sinks for storing wiping towels, utensils, and dumping ice. Hand washing sinks should be used only for washing hands.
  • None of the employees on duty had current food manager certification. Current certification for a Aundrea De La Garza was observed posted on the wall in the office, but was not on duty at time of inspection.
  • Need to clean calcium build-up on exterior area of soda fountain machine located at drive-thru.
  • Clean soda fountain spouts and area around spouts on the soda fountain machine located in dining room
  • Current food establishment permit was purchased by the establishments corporate office on 10-21-15 and needs to be posted in public view at this location.
  • Most current inspection report from San Antonio Health Department on 6-11-2015 was not posted in public view.

  • Soap dispensor was missing from hand sink by 3 compartment sink. Manager stated it was taken off to move to another handsink and the establishment has already received a replacement dispensor. Dispensor needs to be installed.
  • Wastewater from 3 compartment sink does not flow directly into the drain and spills onto the floor around the drain. Establishment is currently using a styrofoam cup to direct water into the drain. Pipe needs to be extended so that water flows into the drain and must maintain an air gap of 2 inches from drain.

  • Soda machine in kitchen - Observed black mold/grime on soda nozzle area, in ice chute, and around exterior of machine. Observed hard water marks on exterior of machine and top of machine missing a piece of screening or siding. All food contact surfaces must be cleaned/sanitized to avoid contamination. Machine must be in good repair and easy to clean.
  • Soda machine in restaurant - Observed out of order sign on machine. Machine has been broken for an extended period of time. Last health inspection report marked as COMPLAINT dated 5/30/2013 makes note of the broken machine. All food contact surfaces must be in good repair. Machine must be repaired/replaced/removed from food establishment.
  • Observed a FOLLOW UP report posted in display case. Food establishment must post their current routine inspection report for public viewing.
  • Observed a pan of discolored shredded lettuce sitting in a prep station. All food items must be in sound condition. Manager trashed/denatured lettuce.
  • Observed a pan of discolored, deteriorating sliced tomatoes in a prep area. All food items must be in sound condition. Manager trashed/denatured pan of tomatoes.
  • Observed buckets of an unknown solution scatterd throghout kitchen area. Per manager buckets contained sanitizer. All toxic chemical must be labeled.
  • Observed a pot of dirty used grease(sewage) sitting inside a dirty cardboard box next to water heater. Floor surrouning box was covered in grease and grime. All sewage must be disposed of properly. Areas affected by sewage must be cleaned/disinfected/air dried at time of follow up inspection.

  • Establishment must always have at least one person on duty with a food managers certification. Manager on duty did not have copy of certificate with them, therefore, was unable to verify if certification is expired.

Can you make it look closed at nigh, maybe put some cones, making some people look crazy and then leaving a bad review. It would be funny if it was realty tv though people think there getting ready to order some food and ain't nobody but a camera to see how people behave believing that someone is there.

We ordered extra sausage on breakfast on a bun and ended up with two thin small pieces of bacon, no sausage. Sausage is an extra dollar. So we were so disappointed. None of our 4 sandwiches had sausage. Plus the restraint had such a strong smell of cleaning solution, I was nauseous and happy to get out of building.
