Refrigeration is holding at proper temperatures. Food is holding at proper temperatures. Staff prepping for event scheduled for Wednesday. No events scheduled for concessions until Friday. Work order in for repair of pipe under two compartment sink. Facility recommended for permit renewal. Once application is received, fill out and send in to Health Department with food permit fee of $40. Food permit will be issued once application and fee is processed.

  • Equipment - Good Repair and Proper Adjustment
    Observation: Leak from pipe observed under compartment sink. Bucket full of water underneath leaking pipe.
    Correction: Repair the compartment sink pipe to restore a state of condition that allows for proper operation, accuracy, functioning, maintenance, and cleanability per Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter. If unable to repair the compartment sink pipe, replace it with one that meets the specifications of Part IV, Article 1 and 2 of this chapter.
  • Critical: Equipment - Food Contact Surfaces, Nonfood Contact Surfaces, and Utensils
    Observation: Ice buildup observed in walk-in freezer.
    Correction: Remove ice buildup and clean and sanitize these surfaces for food contact.
  • Lighting, Intensity (repeated violation)
    Observation: Lights out under hood system. Two light fixtures out near dishwashing area.
    Correction: Provide at least 50 foot candles at a surface where a food employee is working with food or working with utensils or equipment such as knives, slicers, grinders, or saws where employee safety is a factor
  • Physical Facilities in Good Repair
    Observation: Opening observed around pipe under mop sink.
    Correction: Maintain physical facilities in good repair. Poor repair and maintenance compromises the functionality of the physical facilities. Seal around pipe under mop sink.
  • Physical Facilities - Cleaning Frequency and Restrictions
    Observation: Floor in need of cleaning behind cookline.
    Correction: All floors, walls, and ceilings must be cleaned as often as necessary to keep them clean. Cleaning of the physical facilities is an important measure in ensuring the protection and sanitary preparation of food. A regular cleaning schedule should be established and followed to maintain the facility in a clean and sanitary manner.

Application left on site with kitchen manager to have filled out and submitted with $40.00 permit fee. Facility recommended for permit. Food permit will be issued once application and fee is processed. Will contact YNot Pizza concerning equipment they use in the kitchen.

Hood system was cleaned 6/19/13 and due for cleaning on 12/19/13. Work order in for two light fixtures over dishwasher and part on order for leak repair by maintenance for ac unit. Concessions are not in operation. Concessions are still maintained clean until ready for use. Recheck for updated application and permit. Overall facility is being maintained and kept in order.

    Observation: Less than 50 foot candles of light was noted under hood system.
    Correction: Provide at least 50 foot candles at a surface where a food employee is working with food or working with utensils or equipment such as knives, slicers, grinders, or saws where employee safety is a factor

Concessions not in operation during inspection. Refrigeration and product are holding at proper temps. Informed by manager that building will be closed this weekend due to repairs on sewer lines. Facility recommended for permit renewal. Left applications on site to fill out and send in with permit fee. Once applications and permit fees are received and processed, Health permits will be issued.
No violation noted during this evaluation.
