Yosemite View Lodge

Yosemite View Lodge is located at Highway 140 in the unincorporated community of El Portal in Mariposa County, California and is next to the Yosemite National Park. This three story hotel is pet friendly and has an earliest check in time of 3pm with latest check out at 11am on day of departure. There are 335 guest rooms here with fully equipped kitchenettes, cable TV, coffee/tea maker, hair dryer, ironing facilities and a clock radio amongst other things.

Guests have the option of cooking for themselves as the kitchenettes have a microwave oven and a two burner stovetop. However, there are two restaurants in the hotel including Yosemite View, which serves traditional American fare for breakfast and dinner each day and there is also an adjoining pizza parlor and lounge. Guests can also enjoy the use of the three outdoor pools and one indoor pool at the hotel.

There is plenty to do at the Yosemite National Park such as hiking, fishing, rock climbing and horseback riding. During the winter visitors can try downhill and cross country skiing as well as snowshoeing, snowboarding and ice skating. The Merced River is behind the lodge and is a good place for white-water rafting.
