I suggest renting to a working person from another state or another country who is on a limited-time assignment in this area. What are you going to do if you get an older tenant who gets seriously ill or demented, really needs to be in a facility, and you cannot get them out of your house?

I'll preface this by saying I've lived in Toms River for the past 25 years (moved as a child) and my husband and I bought our first home in 2010. Now that we have school age children, we are contemplating a move. While we still like the area, the schools are scarily underfunded, the real estate market is all over the place, and there is a lot of uproar within the township over a religious population moving into the city in droves, which makes a lot of residents seem ugly and it's not pleasant
