Thornton real estate saw a rise since February 2016. In February 2016 buying a house in Thornton cost you a median price of $304,798 and rose to a median price of $325,471 in February 2017. The market took off in February, we have seen an early spring rush in the market thanks to the weather we have been having. Once we got to the middle of February we really saw the market pick up again and homes in the $350,000 and under range in Thornton saw multiple offers and quick sales again. This point to another busy spring/summer real estate season in 2017 in Thornton and surrounding areas.

How much a house will cost in Thornton, CO depends on when you buy and in what area of Thornton you buy. Homes south of 104th in Thornton often go for a lower price, you can find a 3 bed, 2 bath home on that side of Thornton for around $250,000 – $275,000. Go North between 104th and 120th and you are looking at the $300,000 – $400,000 range depending on the neighborhood. Areas beyond 120th all the way down to the north border of Thornton can be upwards of $400,000 especially if the home is newer.
