I know love is never lost. Love can always be found, even in the depths of dispair. In those moments of life when it seems our world is crashing in on us, when nothing seems to be going our way, when we're at our wits end, love will find a way. Love will rescue us.
Yes, love rescues. God, the author of love, uses love in various ways both directly from Himself or through others to show us there is hope, that there's no need to despair, that life is worth living.

What else do I know? What else..what else. Oh, I know. I know love is never lost. Love can always be found, even in the depths of dispair. In those moments of life when it seems our world is crashing in on us, when nothing seems to be going our way, when we're at our wits end, love will find a way. Love will rescue us.

How do I know this, you may be asking yourself. Well, I happen to know the Author of love and have felt Him rescue me more than once and using love to do it. Love from...

4 days left to suffer in Texas heat

Posted 07-28-2008 at 08:22 PM by Katzztar

Blah. it's no fun to pack...but packing in very hot weather is worse. I hate the weather reports that give you averages. They post it's 96 degrees but signs at schools and banks show for Lewisville it's over 100. This summer heat is one reason that I am moving. For the past few years I've suffered migraines and bronchio-spasms (causing asthma-like symtoms) triggered by the heat.

Today was tiring at the 2nd job, at the hospital. It was non-stop typing to keep up with people....

I sleeped in the hall where was cooler than room, but many mosquitos.
Heard of that typhoon called "fenghuang" is coming,so the weather would be more cool.

WTI Cushing Spot $124.73 What's in a name? Midessa Part 1

Posted 07-28-2008 at 05:57 PM by Lucidus (Petrotopia: The city that oil built)

For the last couple of entries I have been discussing the names of cities, mainly about how Midland and Odessa are for the most part boring names.

Today I am going to blog about a city that does not exist, Midessa, Texas.

The name Midessa is formed by combining the names Midland and Odessa into one and in my opinion is far superior to the two source names in just about every way.

Firstly, Midessa is original. A google search returns 15,200 hits for Midessa...
