Visa

Oh boy what a fun experience, such a thing deserves its own blog(my first one too).

Thursday was the day I got my Canadian Visa. Normally these things are not needed for people from the uk but I had to get one anyways because I'm not technically British for at least 2 more months.

Getting the Visa was more hard work than I thought it would be. It started like a scavenger hunt for credentials, they were:

-Passport
-Travel tickets
-Insurance details...

This Is Sort of Fun

I've never actually thought of doing a blog before but I find it to be somewhat interesting. I made my first blog on healthcare or, at least, how it pertains to me. This seems like fun. I can just rummage around my skull and find different things to write freely about. A diary of sorts for all the weird things that rummage through my head. I wonder what else I can blog about? I guess there any number of things. Things that crop up in your daily life, things that interest you, things you just feel...

I was told that today was the earliest summer solstice (sp?) since the 1800's.

Why Is Health Care So High In This Country?

As a relatively young person (26 years old) I have had little experience with doctors other than the occassional check-up. Most of my adult life, until this past year, was in the military and you only went to the doctor (what we called the "medical hobby shop") as a last resort. So, it was my first "real" experience being referred to a specialist earlier last week.
