  • Basic - Build-up of grease on nonfood-contact surface. Hood filters.
  • Basic - Case of single-service articles stored on floor in dry storage area/kitchen/wait station. Cases of cups. Front part of kitchen.
  • Basic - Employee personal food not properly identified and segregated from food to be served to the public. Several in walk in cooler.
  • Basic - Lights in food preparation, food storage or warewashing area missing the proper shield, sleeve coatings or covers. By fryers in cook line.
  • Basic - Working containers of food removed from original container not identified by common name. White powder in bulk container under prep table in kitchen, per operator is sugar.
  • High Priority - Employee failed to wash hands before putting on new set of gloves to work with food. Cook after reading raw fish, grabbed clean knife, took off gloves and put on new ones, no hand wash.
  • High Priority - Food-contact surfaces not sanitized after cleaning, before use. Do not use equipment/utensils not properly sanitized. Employee washed and rinsed a strainer and placed it on clean dishes storage rack by triple sink. Discussed this with operator. Corrective action taken, moved item back into triple sink and set up sanitizing solution.
  • Intermediate - Employee washed hands in a sink other than an approved handwash sink. Employee prepping shrimp rinsed hands in triple sink. Discussed this with operator.
  • Intermediate - No currently certified food service manager on duty with four or more employees engaged in food preparation/handling. Five employees engaged in food preparation at time of inspection. Operator stated two of them will leave soon.
  • Intermediate - No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees. To order approved program food safety material, call DBPR's contracted provider: Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association (SafeStaff) 866-372-7233.
  • Intermediate - Potentially hazardous (time/temperature control for safety) food covered while cooling. Large container filled with chicken wings and covered inside of chest freezer. Operator uncovered it.

  • Basic - Exterior door has a gap at the threshold that opens to the outside. On rear exit door.
  • Basic - Reach-in cooler gasket torn/in disrepair. In front reach in cooler and kitchen small reach in cooler. Manager stated new gaskets ordered.
  • Exit door locked. For reporting purposes only. In existing walk in cooler, door has sliding bolt lock. Manager stated new door with correct safety lock.

Ordered food for pick up on door dash .. went to restaurant to pick up order after receiving confirmation that it was ready for pick up . When I got to restaurant I told them the name and the young boy who works there told me he gave it to a door dasher and they were delivering it . I was confused on how he accidentally did that when I have. Confirmation email for pick up ONLY and it should have never been given to anyone . They just gave my order to anyone .I was confused and tried to explain to them they don’t even have my address to deliver anything to me . Owner Mohamed came from back told me to contact door dash . I waited there for over an hour and he says he made it once he won’t make it again but I told him I paid for order . Where’s my money ? He was very rude to me him and his staff after a mistake on their end . I went home hungry and they just took my money I called door dash customer service who assured me there no way tht could have happened that they never assigned anyone to even pick anything up from that location . So that just told me they gave my food to just anyone . Very bad customer service because he was supposed to make it right because HIS WORKER MAD THAT MISTAKE . it’s hurricane season and I that this would be a great place to order from . We went home hungry and someone got free food ! Bad manger doesn’t know anything about customer service !

Got a gyro platter today 4 strips of meat one pita and some crappy salad with a can of Coke 14 dollers. Asked if it came with fries like the picture and they said no. I will never go back

Hi,
we appreciate you give tunis a chance and choose to eat with us.
Just to make things clear the poster for the gyro platter consists of meat,salad are fresh as we use romaine lettuce ,roma tomatoes,cucumber and fresh onions along with sliced pita bread.
taziki sauce on the side.
Now as a owner i do apologize for the low quantity of meat my stuff put on your dish.
Hope we see you again and will make your experience away better than the one you had .
again our apologies.
