Operational records of tests results are not maintained. Daily testing was started yesterday and is required every day the pool/spa is open. A reliable means of testing is not maintained.
Corrective action: When tests are required, operational records of tests results shall be maintained for two years and shall be made available to the Director or his/her representative upon request. A reliable means of testing required ranges for pH, free available chlorine (i.e., DPD Test Kit which is unaffected by chloramines or other chlorine compounds) and total available chlorine or total bromine residuals, cyanuric acid (if used), total alkalinity and calcium hardness shall be maintained. Test methods shall be capable of measuring chemical ranges as set forth in 25 TAC Chapter 265 without dilution of pool/spa water.

Corrective action: Pools and spas shall be maintained under the supervision and direction of a Nationally Accredited or Trained pool/spa operator who is responsible for the sanitation, safety and proper maintenance of the pool/spa and all physical and mechanical equipment and records.

Corrective action: The operator will display a current and valid health permit for each pool/spa on the premises. Permits are required for each pool and are not transferable to other persons or pools.

Safety features and equipment shall be designed, constructed, installed and maintained to comply with all applicable provisions of City of Fort Worth Ordinances and the State Standard.
The throwing rope is damaged, broken or is not properly attached or maintained. Rope was not on buoy.
Corrective action: The throwing rope shall be repaired or properly attached and maintained. At each Class C pool, one light, strong, non-telescoping, non-conducting 12 foot long or longer pole with attached body hook or shepherd's crook and one throwing rope that reaches at least 2/3 the maximum pool width with firmly attached 15 - 24 inch Coast Guard approved ring buoy shall be mounted in a conspicuous place within 20 feet of the pool. Both shall be provided for each 2,000 square feet of water surface and shall be accessible.
