With the end of the La Nina early this year, anyone have any winter predictions for this upcoming winter?

According to the 2011 Long-Range Weather forecast ~

2011 Long-Range Weather Forecast for Alaska

Winter temperatures will be near normal, on average, across the north and about 5 degrees below normal in central and southern portions of the state. The coldest periods will occur in mid- to late December, early and late January, mid-February, and early March. Precipitation will be below normal in the Aleutians and south-central region but above normal elsewhere. Snowfall will be much above normal in the east-central region, below normal in the west-central region, and above normal elsewhere. The heaviest snowfalls will occur in early November, mid-December, and late February in the north; mid- to late November, early December, mid-January, and early February in the Aleutians; mid-December and early February in the east-central region; mid-November, mid-December, and early January in the south-central region; mid-November, late January, and late March in the west-central region; and early November, early to mid-January, and early March in the Panhandle.

Last year it was supposed to be cold and snowy and we got cold, windy, and the lowest snowfall in 30 years. Lame. It will surely be better this year, but if we can't trust NOAA forecasts more than two days out around here, I'm sure not putting any stock in the Farmer's Almanac.
