Gainsville is not bad. The major employer there is a State prison. The town in right on I-35 W. It has a great pie factory.

The casino is about 10 minutes up the road across the Oklahoma border.

Gainsville can be hot but it is not like the coast in that the humidity is not bad at all. Lots of trees in Gainsville.

They sure use to. Who did you talk to? Why don't you call Regional and the Native Hosp. also.

You gotta get out of there as soon as you can. Just got back from Houston last week. It was 104F on Thursday when I left, and I heard it hit 108F over the weekend. ffs!

I spoke to someone in HR at Providence, I haven't tried Regional yet. I'm going to check ANMC again.

It was around 108 here in Mcgregor/Gatesville this weekend. I was off and did not step outside at all.

Also take a look at Providence's jobs - see if they mention relocation. I would call back to Providence and ask for a 'nurse recruiter' and see what she/he has to say. What have you got to lose? Good luck.

No mention on their page but I'm going to call right now and see. Thank you!
