When I looked at Prov last fall they didn't offer me any relocation benefits. But there are 4 hospitals in town. ANMC, PAMC, ARH and St. Elias. Don't know who, if anyone, will offer relocation.

Don't forget about Central Peninsula in Soldotna and Maniilaq in Kotzebue. I think Maniilaq may offer relocation... don't know much about them. I have worked with some case mgrs from Soldotna and they seem like a friendly bunch.

Well I'm out of Texas and in Arizona, deep in the Navajo Nation. It's far cooler here, dipping below freezing at night and only got to 46 yesterday for the high. It snowed all around Chinle on Thursday but we got rain, lots of cold rain. Loving the weather, the internet is satellite and slow, the area is very remote so it almost feels like being in Barrow again! Just a few months here then back to Alaska.

Hell yeah!!! I was hoping you would post with an update; your story is inspiring to me. If you want it bad enough, you can get pretty much anything you want! Arizona is one strange place. It's known for being a scorching hot desert, but there are those sections like the one you're in where the weather is actually nice. Hell, people in Phoenix are still dealing with 100˚F+ temps even now. That's just nuts. So glad to hear that you're back on track to getting yourself back up to Alaska.

I went to 7th grade with a Navajo boarding school. Interesting people.
