That was a traffic jam that I was in. There was a bad accident up past Hope on the road to Kamloops, the Mounties had the road blocked off on that route, I was fine going north. It took a hour and a half to get around that mountain when the traffic finally started moving.

Oh, if you like McDonalds, they have them in most towns up until Fort St. John. If you must eat cheap, nothing beats them. Theres A&W's in most places, too. Whenever I drove the highway, I avoided staying in Prince George, people are crazy drivers there. If I'm going north, I'd stay in Hixon, just south of Prince George or depending on when I'm near it, I'd stay in Quesnel or Williams Lake. Drool, Tim Horton's coffee and donuts...

I was going to ask about McDonalds avab. When I quit working there several weeks ago the crew gave me a $50 gift card so I have been saving it for our trip. I figure there is always a Mickie D's somewhere on the way. I have heard of Tim Horton's before I do belive. Cheap is always a good way to go especially with 2 teenage boys,LOL or buffet we love buffets.

If you have never had a blended white chocolate peppermint mocha before I will say it is wonderful. But now if I want a fix and don't want to spend the bucks I get the McDonalds Iced Coffee with Vanilla,4 squirts of sugar, and 2 extra creams. It is really quite good and the cost is good as well.

The McD's where I worked at is one of the first in the state of SC to start doing Mochas and latte's. The price is a real draw in for sure and the quality is pretty good as well.

I usually stop at the Wal-Mart in Quensel to get my oil changed. You got to remember to do that kind of stuff on your drive. They did an excellent job and even offered fuel filter changes and other stuff that they don't do in the lower 48.

We had much the same sort of forecast here. We lost power for about 3.50 hours as well.
