The thing is, she's dumb and nobody really takes her seriously. The right fears Obama's unflappable calm and intelligent demeanor amid 2 years of attacks. Unfortunately, Kerry buckled 4 years ago while Obama charges. He has earned the right to be our leader. Without him, all we get is the same ol mess.

PS- Dont forget Silly Sarah wants more power for the VP. Look what she did in her short stint has governer. America doesn't need Dick Cheney on steroids.
I agree, soon following the headlines came another report that Palins Husband had in depth involvement? This was a private matter pertaining to officials, Governor Palin and the man in question (Wooten), Palin's husband acted way out of his scope of knowledge since he has absolutely no expereince in this whatsoever other than being Palin's henchman. The fact that officials went in to speak to Governor Palin and instead found Mr. Palin there to answer all of their questions? A but odd don't you think?
Maybe this is common in Alaska but I have never heard of this occuring elsewhere?

Palin's husband, Todd, can do whatever he want's. This is the USA, everyone, their dog and all the thousands that swim across the Rio Grande have the right to their freedom of speech. That's a right we guarantee to all citizens. In case you didn't notice Mr. Palin started harping on Wooten before the future Vice President was ever elected as Governor.

I say kudo's to him for speaking up. Now all you Bamabot's can go back to watching the Bama channel on Dishnetwork....

Actually no, the First Dude cannot do whatever he wants - none of us can, in a moral nation governed by law.

Meanwhile .......

Board's Troopergate Probe Casts Wider Net - Anchorage Daily News, Oct. 13, 2008.

Quote:
The state Personnel Board investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin's firing of Walt Monegan has broadened to include other ethics complaints against the governor and examination of actions by other state employees, according to the independent counsel handling the case.

The investigator, Tim Petumenos, did not say who else is under scrutiny. But in two recent letters describing his inquiry, he cited the consolidation of complaints and the involvement of other officials as a reason for not going along with Palin's request to make the examination of her activities more public.

Two other ethics complaints involving Palin are known. One, by activist Andree McLeod, alleges that state hiring practices were circumvented for a Palin supporter. The case is not related to Monegan's firing. The other, by the Public Safety Employees Association, alleges that trooper Mike Wooten's personnel file was illegally breached by state officials.

John Cyr, the PSEA executive director, said Monday the union plans to amend its complaint to be sure the board investigates "harassment" of Wooten as well.
Personally, I don't care what she does in Alaska - that's up to the good people of Alaska to deal with. But hopefully, her presence on the Republican ticket has helped doom McCain's chances, and the finding already made that she abused the power of her office, together with whatever revelations are made by this second investigation, will prevent Palin from ever securing a national position (like U.S. Senator).

You know what I meant. He has the absolute right to run his mouth and spout off anything he wants. As long as it doesn't involve threats to national security and stuff like that.

If that's what you meant, you should have said it that way. But what you said was ".... can do whatever he want's...", and that's clearly not true.

Such cynicism. Are you saying that the United States is an immoral and lawless country? Or just your neck of the woods?
