You say one thing, and then post a cite to a URL that proves you are wrong. It does
not say polar bears are on the Endangered List. It says they
are on the Threatened List. (It is a rather significant distinction!)
BTW, I'm not sure that I agree with listing polar bears as threatened at this time. I'm also extremely leery of the IUCN listing as "Vulnerable" due to a "suspected" population drop of >30%, which is data that I don't think can be verified.
On the other hand, I do agree that Global Warming is a serious potential threat to polar bears, and that they may well be threatened with extinction within the next 100 years if the current trends continue.
