Sorry to pop your bubble, but there is nothing there to get or a need to explain.

Okay. Let me try again, with slightly altered wording.

Sarah and Todd are out hiking in the Alaskan interior. After a night of stimulating conversation under the stars, they wake up and realize that they are lost. Sarah is pissed: "Todd, I should have stayed back in Wasilla and sent Tweets instead." In the meanwhile Todd is trying hard to figure out just what their location is. Finally Todd remembers that he has a map. He lays it out on the grass. "Sarah, you're the expert, help me read this map." So expert map-reader Sarah is poring over the map, trying hard to decipher their current coordinates.

Finally, in a "Eureka!" moment reminiscent of Archimedes, Sarah pipes up, "I figured it! I know where we are! This map is soooo good!"

Todd is delighted, not to mention relieved. "Where darlin', where the f are we, Sarah darlin'?"

"You see that mountain over there?" says genius Sarah, pointing in the distance. "We are on top of it."

Default oooookaaaaaay

I'm going to have to dig up my IQ test for Californians.

This post was about the magic bus and a couple guys getting lost.

That prompts notrees to tell a "joke" about Palin getting lost. Is someone obsessed?

Ohhh, I get it, if you are from a major city somewhere south, reading a real topo map that is funny bcause it seems out of place to you...

That is why you are so amused with it... Sorry to pop your bubble then!

I have this map you will find halarous then, it is about this bus that was dragged to the end of a mining road and city dwellers think it is some kind of holy shrine because another city dwellers went there and died from not having a clue to what he was dong.... but he was just following his "Zen"!

Oh, and we have a new Gov, seems you didn't get the memo on that either.

Congratulations, Star, for "getting it." I knew you could do it, my boy. How many slow readings did it take - 50, 100, 200+?

Wow, you really are clueless....

I will try to tone down my respones to your posts. Humor is not one of strong points...now I feel bad that I was taking advantage of the mentally challenged...

Bummer...
