I want to live with Grammie, but would take Rance's lonely cabin anyday.

Thanks you guys. I love this place too.
Here's out front at lowtide.

It took about a year to get the cabin livable. I had my floathouse I'd been living in the past 15 years towed here so I could still live in it & drag the generator up the hill & work on it full time. Of course the state brought electricity out here the year after I got it all finished. A neighbor brought his sawmill over and we used the trees out front for lumber.

The floathouse looks much better now too. It's tucked on the beach in front of the cabin, can't see it from the cabin and can't see the cabin from the floathouse, only nature and fishing boats. I've been watching the humpback whales bubblefeed and breeching out front along with dozens of stellar sea lions for the past month. It's been spectacular! Pictures on the camera but battery's dead so I'll pick out a couple good ones for the photo thread later

.

All ya gotta do is get here! There's a jet going north & south every day, weather permitting and the ferry comes here, when it's not broke. May has been amazing the last few years, was 80's all month this past May. King salmon are running, bears are waking up & killer whales are showing off. Actually it's been good all the way through September this year. You're welcome to come play!

Oh you tease me...not sure it will happen this year, as I just found out we were having another grand in August I have to go oversee, and a couple of kids visiting through the summer, but the following one...look out...this girl will be ready to play
