Yes, Fort Wainwright has lots of brand new housing. My buddy and I did a lot of the flooring for about 200+ of those units about 2 years ago. That is what brought me up to Fairbanks originally. We were presently surprised just how nice some of those units are. The ones we were installing carpet in were about 2,000 sf, 3 bedroom. I remember they had large master bedrooms and even have garages.

Yea Fort Drum ( where I am now) has been doing the same thing, building a ton of new housing. Some of them are incredible. What i have now is by no means shabby, but man are the new ones pretty I'm hoping we get a newer one when we get to wainwright, but I've never had luck with that lol. We'll see in a few weeks! Only 18 days till I'm there

I tell ya what, using your rewards really pays off. Our prices are $3.27 here in Wasilla, in Palmer they're at $3.25, but using my reward points I payed $2.60 today.

Do you have to pay a membership fee to Freddies or is it just a rewards card??

And at the end of the quarter, depending on how much you spend, you get coupons/rebates in the mail....I have had them amount to up to about $20 for freebie cash, and then others with percentages off on select departments if they interest you....
