Driving from Anchorage to Wasilla early Friday morning was an eerie beauty for me. Loved watching the moon views and shifting night sky as it transitioned it's way to extended twighlight...

A couple from this morning looking out across the inlet at sunrise/moonset. Different exposures and FL.

Moose, the first shot is a beauty and a little more processing would yield better detail in the mountain below. The white balance seems to be off on the second (unless you deliberately cooled it for the effect).

Yea, they were kind of a rush job before I left the house this morning. In the first one the moon was a bit overexposed so I brought it down about half stop in LR, while the entire second shot was dark so I brought the whole thing up almost 2 full stops, which is why I think the overall color shifted. Also, I wasn't fully awake this morning and forgot that I shot these with my 40D, so my 5DII presets were a bit off - also why there's more noise than I expected! I'm going to play around with them some more and see what happens.
