This last Fourth of July I affixed two American flags to the back of my pick up truck. As I proceeded to drive around I had Hispanics/Mexicans make rude gestures to me and cuss me out. I had never dealt with such anti American behavior in my life. I had no idea the Flag of The United States was a symbol offense. Not here in the United States anyway.
I think you are making up stuff. I am also Hispanic but don't look it. I have green eyes and am fairly light skin. I have never ever had any problems of what you speak and I have a US Flag affixed to my truck.

As to you original post I think you need to change your friends and make better decisions in your life. Running off to Prescott, AZ is not going to change your problems with the Hispanic/Indian Cultures. Well, maybe it will since you obviously are looking for a predominantly white area. Prescott is that. Hopefully you'll never have to leave Prescott because once you do you will be back with all the undesirable minority groups.

Watch the Local news. On that note please watch the Prescott news (online) you'll notice a huge peaceful difference. As far as the whole state of ARIZONA goes I can at least say this,..........They may sit side by side on the border, they may share historical ties to Mexico; they may have once even been part of the same territory, but Arizona and New Mexico have grown up like distant siblings.

My point once again, Why would I come on here and need to lie? "RUNNING OFF TO PRESCOTT to avoid problems"?!? ALSO Your the one who called MINORITY''s UNDESIRABLE! Not me!!! I'm not a MINORITY or some other label I AM A UNITED STATES CITIZEN AND ONLY THAT! I also have lots of really nice supportive friends. They don't live in Albq BTW.

Like the old saying goes "get in where you fit in". Albq has been fun. I been to many concerts, The "bull ridin", Hung out at the casinos, Experimented with restaurants (I personally like MEXICAN food over New Mexican food), been to the beer festival, been to the wine festival, enjoyed cruising central on Friday and Saturday nights. ACTUALLY cruising central on Friday and Satururday night has been one of the highlights of my time in Albq. All the cool hot rods, low riders, choppers and all the people made it a blast, driving up around Tijares and up to the sandia crest, I love Guitar Center but really really love Music go Round!! Yup I feel I have had a great time here in ALBQ. Oh Yeah!!! One more thing, At the farmers market on Eubank and snow heights I had them roast me 30 pounds of red chili and 30 pounds of red chili. Had a good positive time on Kirtland Air Force Base. UNLIKE most people who stay locked up in there homes or there """COMMUNITY'S" I ventured out to every place possible in Albq and All over NEW MEXICO. I have hunted deer, elk and rabbits in three rivers and other locations. YUP I pretty much have been there and done that here in NEW MEXICO!!!!

So you are cruising Central on Friday and Saturday nights and then you spout disappointment at the riff-raff you've seen? Hmmm...

Enjoy your new Arizona surroundings where the grass is much greener

I was wondering why I haven't had any contact with "drunk Native Americans, illegal aliens, or aggressive cage fighter type Hispanics," but then I realized it is because I am not cruising Central, lol. Actually, I don't think I've ever been on Central, much less "cruised" it after dark on a Friday or Saturday night. My life is comfortably dull, and I like Abq just fine.

Good luck to you Ace.

Oh, and a word to my fellow posters, "illegals" is really not acceptable nomenclature. It's crass, dehumanizing and just as inappropriate as referring to people of color as "colored." Perhaps choose your language more thoughtfully. Generally "undocumented" is preferred.

I commute Central twice a day during the week. You really should do it sometime. In the mornings you can see the night-shift being changed out with the day-shift and after work you get to see the night-shift coming back on. Very colorful.

Couldn't help but pile on.

The most telling thing about this is that Prescott is the absolute last place I'd want to live in Arizona. Would sooner live in Nogales, or Maryvale, or Safford, or St. Johns.

The road layout is horrible, putting it on par with the most poorly planned L.A. suburbs. Weather is identical to Albuquerque's, except they get 6X as much snow in the winter. But the people are what make Prescott the least enjoyable to me. It has this odd vibe of "where people go to give up on life."

I think it's a match made in heaven. Our OP will fit right in.
