^Cruising still exists along Central, but it's only downtown, before they block it off for bar-goers after 10 pm on the weekends (I think that's when they put the barricades up...).

I wish people would get their facts straight. Prescott is at 5000 feet. It is not super hot like Phoenix.

Who's talking about Phoenix? This is about Albuquerqurque and Prescott, not about Phoenix.

Where exactly in Albq.? Did you live in a suburb? We are from Woodbury, Mn. a suburb of St. Paul w/a population of approx. 58,000. We like the suburban life and were looking into Rio Rancho to start with and now we are thinking Prescott Valley Az. My brother and sister in law live there since May. They love it. We need jobs though. Just returned from there for a 10 day visit, and we love the weather. My hubby is in manufacturing and I'm in food service, going to school for medical office support. What are your opinions?

After growing up in Albuquerque and moving to Prescott in 2007, that was the worst decision I have ever made. I would not wish that horrible town on my worst enemy.

delorean623, would you please elaborate about why you hate Prescott so much? Is there a possibility of returning to Albuquerque or going somewhere else? Just curious...

Looking forward to starting a CALM quiet life in Prescott AZ.

P.S. I hope the Lobo football team improves and I hope the fans find a renewed spirit of support and cheer for there team.
Uhhhh really? Ok let me just say I am from Chicago and I used to live in ABQ and loved it to death and would love to move back. Hustle and bustle is quite peaceful and nice in ABQ, illegal aliens are everywhere so get used to it, cage fighter type hispanics.....huh you have to explain that one a little more? Oh and the twisted government, haha try living in IL. I personally haven't been to Prescott so I can't say anything but from what I can see online it doesn't look to exciting but that's just me. Good luck with your new town
