I'm just wondering what everyone's opinion is on this one. I personally like Filiberto's mostly for there carne asada. I've eaten at Chipotle at there Mesa AZ location. I figured as soon as they opened there doors here in Albq I would be head over heels for them, that's not what happened though.

I'm a Filiberto's fan, because it offers savory, authentic food at a fair price. My favorite: burrito de carnitas. Another plus is that it's located about 5 minutes from my place.

Last summer I was into Filiberto's for a while (before I starting doing some experimenting with health-related restrictive diets). I thought the tacos at Filiberto's were some of the best I've eaten here, and the quantities were good for the price. I have not tried Chipotle.

Never ate at Filiberto's before, but I did eat at Chipotle today, and although I enjoyed, I just thought it was white mans version of what Mexican food should taste like, also nothing but white people their no offence to any of you white folks, but it's just not the same. I respect that they are serving healthier food, but it's almost as if they white man tried customizing to fit more of their version of what mexican food should taste like, it's not a true authentic "mexican grill" like it's claimed, also they had jamaican radio on .. Huh? As far as the food goes, I enjoyed it the burrito was ok for the most part really big, made of organic stuff, but it left me hungry an hour later not as filling. I thought the salsa was a joke tasted like lime tomato sauce.. I think this type of place would do great inside a Whole Foods market. I ate at Saidies and I must say their is no competition I'll take authentic new mexican food over any day over Chipotle.

I wasn't impressed with Chipotle, and I really hate the seating (or should I say lack of seating?) inside the restaurant. I think Moe's SW Grill is better. But locally, give me the original Garcia's (Mountain & 4th) or Papa Felipe's over Chipotle and Filiberto's any day.

Although I do think Golden Pride has the best Carne Adovada - I like it shredded

Chipotle is about 20x better than Filibertos. And this is coming from a hispanic who ate spanish food all his life.

Very interesting, Both establishments base there food off California style Mexican food. What is it that you don't like about Filibertos?

The majority of their restaurants are dirty, and their quality of food is cheap. I can't stand the taste of anything to be very honest. As opposed to the quality of Chipotle.

Chipotle has a more classy feeling too.
