No I didn't regret it. Well I started very young, 13 and it did progress and got worst for a good 10 years. But I guess being an alcoholic different than just having fun.
I dont regret drinking before age 21! Honestly as a kid it probably helped me not to go crazy once I hit college. I was able to go into university and already know my alcohol limits so when I was at school with no parents to save me I didnt do anything stupid.
I regret the times I drank to get wasted rather than to actually enjoy the beverage. I still like getting a buzz, but I appreciate good beer/liquor nowadays (never really got into wine)
The attitudes in this thread are a testament to why the drinking age laws do not work and are unenforceable. No one seems to have ever obeyed the law at the time it applied to them nor do people really support the law at all. It’s very comparable to the old 55 mike an hour speed limit. No one obeyed that either. In order for laws to be effective they must be supported by the people. The drinking age is clearly a despised and disrespected law. The law should be changed to something that is supported by our population.
