Dust doesn't seem to bother her. It's mold. We lived in Va Beach for a number of years and she didn't have any problems. I, on the other hand did. I also had problems in Kansas. I don't seem to have any here in TN but she does allot. It can't be dust, I'm pretty sure. The mold count here is near dangerous all year round.
I have heard that Colorado is a good place and Arizona, but don't know if that's true.
Avoid Virginia, that's for sure!
My allergies got a lot worse when I moved to Arizona. I have also been diagnosed with asthma. The dust, construction, nonative plants, and year round farming make a person with allergies or asthma completely miserable.
I never really had allergies but when I went to nevada and arizona both myself and my wife had problems. Mold can be really tricky it seems and you can have problem in many areas during parts of the year.I know that my sister was ok in florida but when the red seaweed came in it really hit her hard.

There are molds and pollens here and the wind blows them around like crazy. I think the dust contains nmold in some cases. so far I have been spared but most people who move to where I live get allergies evn if they've never had them.
My mom is severely allergic to dust & mold, and since she moved here to El Paso, TX they've gotten much better...it does get windy here, but she stays inside with the windows closed on windy days.
My wife has really bad allergies and has had bronchial irritation ever since the spring of this year. We live in Spring Hill, TN and she's never had this problem before. We went to Florida this August and all of it went away. We came back, a day later she's coughing up stuff again. It helps a little to have it really cold in the house and her coughing and bronchial conjestion is almost gone. Based on the fact that when we went to Florida and we also visited Kansas, it goes away means that TN is a bad place to live with allergies, spores and mold. We were thinking of moving next year to another place like Colorado or Montana which I've researched and seen that most people don't have a whole lot of allergies there. What is your opinion. What states are really good to live in with people and servere allergies? I've also heard that Spring Hill, TN and Memphis, TN are the worst places to live if mold, spores, and allergies are a problem. What is your opinion? We need to do something soon because I really hate seeing my wife constantly coughing.
Maybe you should check your house for possible mold. I've never heard of ppl being allergic to an entire state.
Tennessee is the allergy capital of the US so it's pretty much the whole state unfortunately.
